Wine Market Council's mission of growing the consumer base of the U.S. wine market is enabled by contributions in the form of annual dues from its members and grants from associated industry organizations. Wine Market Council’s focus is consumer research and public relations for the industry. All of our research data is proprietary to Wine Market Council members. These research findings benefit strategic planning as well as marketing and sales execution. Memberships are open to industry companies.

Each member category has its own dues schedule with minimum annual dues contributions beginning at $250.


Grower: Dues - 75 cents for every $1000 of grapes sold annually. Dues cap of $8,000. Receives all research reports in digital format and three annual conference registrations free of charge. Members in this category who pay $1,000 or more have access to full data tabulations.


Producer/Importer: Dues – 2 cents per case of table wine sold annually. Dues cap of $80,000. Receives all research reports in digital format and three annual conference registrations free of charge. Members in this category who pay $1,000 or more have access to full data tabulations.


Wholesaler: Dues – 1 cent per case of table wine sold annually. Dues cap of $25,000. Receives all research reports in digital format and three annual conference registrations free of charge. Members in this category who pay $1,000 or more have access to full data tabulations.


Affiliate: Dues - $3,000. Membership category for businesses and individuals who derive income from the wine industry such as retailers, restaurants, brokers, financial institutions, industry vendors or suppliers. Receives all research reports in digital format and three annual conference registrations free of charge.


Associate: Dues - $250. This membership category is for businesses and individuals who derive income from the wine industry such as retailers, restaurants, brokers, financial institutions, and industry vendors or suppliers and are not interested in receiving Wine Market Council research reports. Membership includes three annual conference registrations free of charge.
